Source Filmmaker Subscription Terms
The Source Filmmaker is offered to Steam users under the terms of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. The following “Subscription Terms” also apply specifically to the Source Filmmaker, and are referenced by and incorporated into the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
- Tool License. You may use the Source Filmmaker to create animated movies. Your use of the Source Filmmaker tool itself may be for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
- Valve Game Assets. The assets for Valve games are provided for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with the games, pursuant to the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
- Screen Credit. In any movie that you create with the Source Filmmaker where you include any credits, you will include the following screen credit in a legible manner reasonably similar to other credits: "Created using the Source® Filmmaker. © Valve 201_."
- You Are Responsible. The Source Filmmaker is “Software” provided "AS IS" with no guarantees, under the terms of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. You will be responsible for your movies and your use of the Source Filmmaker, pursuant to Section 11 of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and otherwise. You agree to comply with the terms for Steam Online Conduct.
